Privacy notice
How we handle your details
Review Velocity is a free report on how fast local businesses collect Google reviews. To send it, we need a few details from you. This page says what we keep, why, who else handles it, and for how long.
Who we are
Review Velocity is run by Semantic Mastery LLC d.b.a. Tree Care Alliance, 14689 Lee Hwy #62, Gainesville VA 20156. We are responsible for the details you give us here. Questions about them go to support@treecarealliance.com.
What we collect, and why
- Your email address, to send your confirmation link and your report.
- Your name and company, which come with your request. We use your name to greet you in the email.
- The search and the location you ask about, to run the report.
- Your consent: which boxes you ticked, the exact words next to them, and when.
- A hashed code made from your email and IP address, used only to stop the form being misused. It is a hash rather than the address itself, but it can be matched against an address someone already knows, or worked out for an IP address, so we keep it for only a short time.
To build the report we also fetch public Google Maps information about the businesses in the area you searched. That can include review text written by members of the public.
What we do with it
We run the report and email it to you. If you tick the box for occasional tips, we add your name and email address to our mailing list, and every one of those emails lets you unsubscribe. We do not sell your details, and we do not show ads.
Who else handles it
- Railway hosts the app and its database.
- Postmark sends our emails. If an email to you bounces or is reported as spam, Postmark keeps your address on a list so that it is not emailed again.
- Outscraper fetches the public Google Maps information. It receives your search and location, never your name or email address.
- Kit runs our mailing list, and only receives your details if you tick the tips box.
These services may process data in the United States or elsewhere.
How long we keep it
- Your email, name, company, search and consent record
- 90 days, then deleted
- Your confirmation link

- Reports cached for anyone searching the same area (no personal details)

- 24 months, with the email address removed once the request is closed
Our host also keeps server logs for its standard period.
Seeing or deleting your details
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, or ask us to delete them, with the form below or by emailing support@treecarealliance.com. We will reply from that address, and we may need to confirm the request came from you before we act on it. Deleting your details also deletes the copy of your report we emailed you from. It does not delete the cost records above, which no longer identify you, and the public Google Maps information fetched for your report is deleted on its own 30-day schedule.
Review Velocity is operated from the United States.
Cookies
We set two small cookies. One remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, for a year. The other remembers the email address you just entered, for 10 minutes, so the next page can show it back to you. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, and the page loads nothing from other companies' servers.
Changes to this notice
If we change what this notice means, we change its version. The version you were shown when you asked for a report is recorded with your consent.
